Let's face it, everyone wants to Lose weight fast these days, but no one really wants to put in the extreme effort it takes to lose weight as fast as they would like. Generally with a few different detoxifying methods you can lose weight faster than the average person who uses traditional dieting routines. I use a few of these methods quite often when I have to shed some inches and pounds fast for special occasions.
Please note, to lose weight fast you typically have to do something extreme. Most common faddish detoxes don’t work but there are a great amount of traditional detoxes that can really get you to your goal with some dedication and perseverance. As an example many people have had great success with water fasting, juice fasting, vegetable fasting, fruit fasting, and just plain fasting with no solid food at all. You typically can lose 7 to 10 pounds in a ten day period if you do these detox fasts as instructed.
Call me an extremist but I pride myself on have great success with Juice and water cleanses periodically. Most people would say that extreme weight loss is not safe. However, lots of people practice it with success. Everyone has different experiences and no two fast are ever exactly the same. One thing for sure, everyone's experience is unique. I found that guided detoxes, fast, and cleanses, could be very successful and safe with some education and instructions of how to do them.
Diagnostic Fast

It is important to follow the instructions of your physician – otherwise the purpose of the test he scheduled for you will need to be stopped and rescheduled for a later date.
The diagnostic fasting method leaves me to believe that fasting has to be good in some aspect. I say that because doctors will instruct you to stop eating solid foods and water because it helps the body to stabilize itself before going through a extreme procedure. So, I would think that it would even be a good method for stabilizing the body for much needed weight loss.
Partial Fast
A partial fast system is a type of fast that excludes certain foods for an extended period. Many people give up carbohydrates, alcohol, or red meat during this fast. One famous type of partial fast is called the Daniel Fast, have you ever heard of that fast? I didn't until last year. It's a biblical fast that does not allow you to eat the following foods; you cannot eat animal foods, including meat, fish, shellfish, eggs, butter, milk and cheese. Those foods are not allowed on the Daniel Fast. All processed foods, such as frozen dinners and fast foods, are also prohibited when following the fast, besides frozen and processed foods contain a mega amount of sodium. Sodium bloats you and raises blood pressure, so stay away from it especially if your trying to lose weight fast.
If your not religious but want to do a partial fast follow the guidelines of a Daniel fast, its the perfect example of a partial fast that I can think of. This fast isn't appropriate for everyone, such as children, pregnant women and individuals with health problems so take caution of your own health risks.
Alternate-day Fast & Intermittent Fast
The alternate-day fasting and Intermittent fast weight loss method in which a person drastically reduces his or her calorie intake every other day but eat more than usual on so-called non-fasting days, let me break it down in a more simple form. It is a type of intermittent fasting in which you alternate between “fast days,” when you consume food of very few or zero calories, and “feed days” when you eat as much as you like on the days you actually eat.
You can lost up to 5 to 6 percent of your initial body weight. This fast focuses on daily calorie restriction. Using the alternate day fasting system is very beneficial in weight loss, helping to stabilize diabetes, reducing cardiovascular disease and impacting hormone regulation. All of these benefits help during the period of using the method to lose weight fast. There are some great books on Intermittent fasting that I would love to suggest.
Liquid Fast, Juice Fast or Water Fasting
I absolutely recommend drinking calories and reducing your solid food intake for rapid fast weight loss. Liquid fasts really work for me. When liquid fasting, your expected to only drink fluids and avoid eating solid foods. Liquid fasts can include broth, water, or herbal concoctions made with water, like the Master Cleanse. Water fasting only permit water during the fasting period. These fasts can last anywhere from a day to several days.
Juice fasting, or juice cleansing, is a type of liquid fast lasting 3-5 days. It’s usually conducted with detoxification or weight loss in mind. Juice fasts include organic, cleansing fruit and vegetable juices made with a juicer of some kind. Be careful not to jump too quickly into a juice fast without prior preparation, sufficient knowledge and managed expectations to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable and beneficial fasting experience.
Liquid fasting when used intelligently and very carefully, can be a beautiful, nourishing tool to improve your health, improve clarity and sense of connection to yourself and your spiritual life. Fruit Fast
A popular form of fasting is fruit fasting, eating only fresh and raw fruits. This fast is a good fast for beginners and it will certainly help you to lose weight fast. A fruit fast, like any of the fasting methods, will create an alkaline environment for your body to cleanse, heal and lose weight fast . You will experience an internal cleansing as the body's system begins to cleanse itself, It give the body a chance to purge unwanted substance that its been unable to do before. These diets are also called raw vegetable diets or vegetable fasts they allow only non-starchy vegetables such as celery, carrots, kale and green peppers, zucchini and more, while forbidding starchy vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes and corn.
